Consider how things are going in your placement, how you are growing as an educator, and/or what you still need to work towards as you continue your growth as an educator. I am not currently placed but I am working on getting placed somewhere closer to home on the west side of washington, I am hoping for the best that we will get to go into the classroom sometime soon and everything will work out with getting me placed over here. I feel like I am growing as an educator is so many ways every single week, in all of my classes I am either introduced to a new area od teaching or I am learning skills to deepen my undertstanding of subjects we have been learning about. I belive there are still many different things that I can work on to continue growing as an educator. My main points of focus for things to work on would be my lesson plans, espically the detials in the lesson plans and how to make my lessons all different and interesting for my students. I am excited to contine to learnin...

Consider how things are going in your placement, how you are growing as an educator, and/or what you still need to work towards as you continue your growth as an educator. So far in this education program I feel like I am learning new ideas and strategies every day that I am working on my school work and I am continuing to grow with every unit that I am doing. I have gained a ton of knowledge this quarter so far on assessments, lesson plans, rubrics, strategies for teachign read and writing, ways to teach social studies and how to amke my lessons engaging for my students across all areas of study. There are still a lot of things that I need to work on to be the best educator that I can, I want to learn and grow more with my assessments for my students and perfect creating lesson plans and activities to keep my stduents engaged and just learn more and gain more knowledge before going into the education field. I am also really looking forward to hopefully being placed soon as we a...

The selected response was difficult for me because I was trying to come up with enough multiple choice questions, true false questions and matching without having the questions overlap. The performance task was a little difficult for me as well because it was difficult for me to come up with a performance task for a lesson on character descriptions, setting and plot. Which one was the easiest and why? I personally thought that the easiest assessment was the written response just because I had my students just write a descriptive piece and I thought it was a little bit easier to come up with an assessment when it comes to writing cause you can pretty much have your students write about anything. What was something that surprised you about creating assessments? One thing that really surpr...
